PD 992

DESCRIPTION

PD 992 is an oil soluble flow improver and pour point depressant for middle distillates. It considerably improves the flow of almost all middle distillates at low temperatures. PD 992 prevents the formation of wax crystals, thereby reducing the pour point of the middle distillate. PD 992 added as a flow improver will reduce sedimentation of paraffin waxes considerably in many cases.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

PD 992 is added to the middle distillate in proportions of 50-500 ppm. The actual figure selected depends on the cloud point, boiling range, nature and amount of paraffin wax, and the composition of middle distillate.
