SI 80

DESCRIPTION

SI 80 scale inhibitor is designed to prevent calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate scale and barium sulfate in producing wells, water disposal systems and water injection systems. Scale crystals are prevented from forming due to this chemicals ability to distort and chelate scale forming processes.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

SI 80 scale inhibitor is recommended for the prevention of calcium carbonate calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scale at 5-50 ppm depending on the severity of the problem and the water characteristics. SI 80 can be either used in continuous injection or squeeze type applications. Batch treatment can be used in low volume wells, however continuous injection with adequate well fluid by-pass is strongly recommended. This product can also be used for scale inhibition in water wells.

Caution: Safe when used according to directions. This product is a stable material and may be stored for several years. Do not take internally. Keep away from eyes. Normal precautions in handling organic chemicals should be observed. For further information and instructions see MSDS.
