SCI 18

DESCRIPTION

SCI 18 is an all purpose scale corrosion inhibitor for sweet and sour crudes with moderate water cut but high scaling tendencies. SCI 18 prevents the formation of calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate scale. SCI 18 is oil soluble and has excellent filming capabilities.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

SCI 18 scale corrosion inhibitor is most effectively used by continuous injection at 5-50 ppm with adequate by-pass fluid to wash the inhibitor to the bottom. Batch treatment can be done using 1-5 gallons of chemical once per week, flushed with two barrels of well fluid. An initial application of 2-3 gallons should be used to coat the equipment with a film.

Caution: Combustible Liquid. Safe when used according to directions. This product is a stable material and may be stored for several years. Do not take internally. Keep away from eyes.
