CI 54

DESCRIPTION

CI 54 is a water soluble corrosion inhibitor used in a variety of oilfield brines, and is effective in H₂S and CO₂ environments. CI 54 is an excellent film former and controls bacterial growth.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

CI 54 corrosion inhibitor can be best applied using continuous injection but may be also applied by periodic batch treatment. Batch treatment can be done using one gallon of chemical once a week, flushed with two barrels of well fluid. An initial application of 2-3 gallons should be used to coat the equipment with a film.

Caution: Combustible Liquid. Safe when used according to directions. This product is a stable material and may be stored for several years. Do not take internally. Keep away from eyes.
