CI 1620

DESCRIPTION

CI 1620 is an oil soluble, slightly water dispersible organic filming corrosion inhibitor for broad application in oil and gas production. CI 1620 is an excellent film former and is designed to coat and protect all metal equipment. CI 1620 provides corrosion and fouling protection against H2S, CO2 and organic acids.

APPLICATION

CI 1620 corrosion inhibitor is most effectively used by continuous injection at 5-50 ppm with adequate by-pass fluid to wash the inhibitor to the bottom. CI 1620 can also be applied by batch, tubing, displacement or formation squeeze. Recommended dosages depend on specific conditions of the system. Gas wells can be treated at a rate of 0.5- 1 pint per MMSCF.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Caution: Liquid. Product contains diesel. Safe when used according to directions. This product is a stable material and may be stored for several years. Do not take internally. Keep away from eyes.
