CI 1221

DESCRIPTION 

CI 1221 is a concentrated organic corrosion inhibitor for corrosion control in water and oil systems. It is water soluble and is highly effective against H₂S, CO₂, organic acids and inorganic salts and trace amounts of oxygen.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

CI 1221 corrosion inhibitor is recommended for oil wells, gas wells, high fluid wells, waterfloods and disposal wells. It will inhibit water solutions used with bottom hole injection valves .

Treating methods and amount of chemical to be used will vary on the type of system and the severity of the corrosion problem. CI 1221 may be applied by batch, tubing displacement, continuous, or formation squeeze. For continuous injection most problems will respond to injection rates of 5-50 ppm.

Caution: Combustible Liquid. Safe when used according to directions. This product is a stable material and may be stored for years. Do not take internally. Keep away from eyes. Normal precautions in handling organic chemicals should be observed. For further information and instructions see MSDS.
