DESCRIPTION

CI 9 is an oil soluble, water dispersible, organic corrosion inhibitor. CI 9 is an excellent film former and is designed to coat and protect all metal equipment. CI 9 is used in high and low water cut production wells, and is formulated to prevent corrosion caused by H₂S and CO₂ gases.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES

CI 9 corrosion inhibitor is most effectively used by continuous injection at 5-50 ppm with adequate by-pass fluid to wash the inhibitor to the bottom. Batch treatment can be done using 1-5 gallons of chemical once per week, flushed with two barrels of well fluid. An initial application of 2-3 gallons should be used to coat the equipment with a film.

Caution: Combustible Liquid. Safe when used according to directions. This product is a stable material and may be stored for several years. Do not take internally. Keep away from eyes.
