AlumiDraw-DF41

AlumiDraw-DF41 was formulated to provide superior lubrication for wire drawing of EC/Magnesium alloyed wire and numerous Aluminum forming operations. The proprietary lubrication package incorporated into AlumiDraw-DF41 allows for faster drawing speeds and lower die temperatures enabling the user to meet today’s increasing production demands. AlumiDraw-DF41 resists the cohesive polar attraction of Aluminum fines and ash resulting in less die build-up and contaminant suspension times. With adequate filtration and system maintenance, AlumiDraw-DF41 will provide the longest sump life available in fine wire lubricants.

AlumiDraw-DF41 should be used in its neat form as supplied and flooded, dripped, brushed or sprayed onto the work area. AlumiDraw-DF41 can be diluted with, or into, other AlumiDraw products or petroleum solvents depending upon the application.

SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

If used in a re-circulating system, AlumiDraw-DF41 must be sampled periodically to determine that the proper operational parameters and additive levels are maintained. In a wire drawing operation, Aluminum Fines, Ash content and additive levels are indicators of the lubricants performance and longevity. Midwest Custom Chemicals will provide this testing service at no charge to our customers. If AlumiDraw-DF41 is used in a single pass operation, product performance will indicate the success of lubrication.
